What is Arakhne?
Arakhne is a small Indian clothing label that works like a feed rather than a shop. You scroll through original designs one at a time, keep the ones you like, and buy the ones you want to wear. Almost every design is sold as a single piece — once someone buys it, it is retired and never printed again.
How is it different from a normal online store?
There is no grid, no search bar and no filters to set. You scroll a full-screen feed and react: keep it or move past it. What you keep and what you skip teaches the feed what to show you next, so the store rearranges itself around your taste instead of asking you to describe it.
What does "1 of 1" mean here?
Most designs are printed exactly once. The first person to buy one takes it out of circulation permanently: no restock, no second run, no waiting list. Retired designs move to the public vault at arakhne.in/sold, where they stay visible but unbuyable.
Where do the designs come from?
We write the brief — the idea, the joke, the mood — and render the artwork with generative AI models we run ourselves. Then a person reviews every design before it reaches the feed, and rejects most of them. Nothing is licensed, scraped or reprinted from another catalogue.
What can I buy a design on?
Each design ships on the garments and objects it actually suits, chosen when the design is made rather than pasted onto everything. Right now that means Tees, Warmwear, Women, Kids, Pets and Decor.
Who makes and ships the orders?
Everything is printed to order in India by our fulfilment partner Qikink and dispatched within 1–2 business days, usually arriving in 3–7 business days. Because each piece is made for one person after they order it, we cannot take back a change of mind — but a wrong size is on us, with a free 7-day exchange and pickup arranged by us.
Can I change a design before buying it?
Yes. The remix button takes a design you like and makes a variant on request. Your remix stays with your account and does not go into the public feed, so it never competes with the original.
The short version
- A feed, not a catalogue. One design at a time. Keeping and skipping is the whole interface.
- 1 of 1. Sold means gone — permanently, and publicly, in the vault.
- Made to order in India. Nothing is printed until someone wants it, so nothing is sitting in a box hoping to be wanted.
- Briefed by us, rendered with AI, judged by a person. We say so plainly because it is true, not because it is the selling point. The selling point is whether the joke lands.
Who runs it, and the registered business behind it, is on the about page. Or just open the feed — it explains itself faster than this page does.
